Landsdowne Rangers lost the return fixture against last weeks opponents Progress United II by two goals to nil.

The home side went into the game again under strength, missing key players forced out through injury.

As a result Landsdowne struggled to get a grip on a fiercely contested first half, the visitors taking the lead on the half hour when a corner beat Potts at the near post.

Landsdowne then struggled to get going in the second half and Progress took advantage by scoring a second goal.

The home team's assistant referee came under severe fire as he waved play on as the Progress through ball beat the off-side trap and with the Landsdowne defence standing still the Progress striker raced through to score.

With nothing to lose Landsdowne suddenly started playing, however late opportunities were spurned and the visitors left Oakwood Park with the two points.
