Landsdowne were at home but away today as they were pencilled in for a double header against Offside Royals, sorry meant Essex Royals.

Landsdowne were informed beware of the Essex royals linesman as he apparently repeats the dancing move out of Saturday night fever, today’s game was massive in fact it was huge it was bigger than Dave Allen’s eye-brow (wow I hear you all say) yes it was that big and monumental.

If landsdowne got 4 point’s from today’s double header 2nd place was assured for Landsdowne, thanks to Mr G Rix after working out about every permentation under the sun.

So with this in mind Landsdowne took to the field chasing 2nd, the only chance Landsdowne had of winning the league was an outwood common win against waymade, so Landsdowne took to the field knowing it was really all over but had that slight of hope, that small glimmer of hope, the same glimmer that graham has about coming back from tour.

Landsdowne did not start well and was let of early on when a goal was rightly deemed offside, this sparked Landsdowne in to life and after some quick exchanges and a excellent run Graham 1 Landsdowne 1.

Graham was on fire 1 chance 1 goal this was not the same graham, this was the younger graham not the older one we have accustomed too of 1 goal after 2567 chances, The boy was back and so were the players back in to position 1-0 to the good.

Landsdowne controlled the game from their on when up-stepped the young re-vitalised graham Bang Wallop Happy day’s 2-0 Graham 2-0 Landsdowne surely game over.

Essex royals would not lie down in this hard fought game when they tried to break down the left and kicked the ball right in the yard’s nut’s(ouch), he went down quicker than dean, his eyes welled up, with this in mind Vegas put the ball out and pointed to the player, Yard was treated and what happened next was disgusting, it was football at it’s pure lowest, filth, cheating, immoral, un- honourable, whatever word you choose it was so low it could be a chasm down in the depths of the darkest ocean, the players continued play because they were loosing and got a penalty from it, they scored and it was 2-1 Landsdowne dug in deep clearly incensed at what they had just witnessed, it did not matter how deep they dug they could not get any lower than their opposition who went on to loose the game 2-1 which was deserved, and a moral win for football.
