Today Landsdowne travelled all the way from the sidelines for their 2nd clash with Essex Royals. All they needed was 1 point to claim 2nd spot. They knew they could not win as Waymade were watching on as their opposition had not shown, but despite knowing this Landsdowne had to dig deep to cement 2nd place.

The game kicked off and it was no where as feisty as the 1st affair as Landsdowne had felt justice had been done, the game was played at a relatively calm pace considering, Landsdowne were in complete control for the entirety of the match and came away with a 3-1 win.

I could talk about the game but id rather take time out for the season.

Congratulations must go out to all players and management from the top down who took part in what can only be described as a roller coaster ride of a season, every player contributed towards this season, from the young to the old, the team was built and picked by Mr smart who has done an awesome job in his 1st year with full control as manager.

He was assisted by Brian pre-season and Spooks during the season. Id like to take time out to thank you 3 for your work during pre-season and the season as at times it is a thankless task 20 managers and 20 players,

Also Thank you to Dariusz not for just scoring the winning goal against Reecon but for organising this years tour in Poland, I know that I speak for every player we are all looking forward to it and I bet you score against us.

I Save my last Thanks and I definitely know I speak for every player, thank you Mr Bush for Founding the club and staying at the helm long enough to bring this bunch of talented but yet nice bloke’s together, year on year, you have done a fantastic job and I know you hate praise but this was all possible due to you!!!!!

Looking back a 10 match unbeaten run, never beaten in the cups on 90 min’s 14 wins out of 18, 2 losses we had no keeper, injuries against the 2 top sides at crucial times, need I say more!!!!!!! Forget the mistakes and missed chances, let’s look back at the season with a smile and enjoy the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!
