Landsdowne entered today’s game full of optimism after beating 2nd in the league 1-0 the previous week, and when I say optimism maybe I should say Landsdowne are entering this game needing a miracle.

As it turns out Landsdowne have not won 2 games on the spin since 02/11/2003, and yep you read that right
2 years and 2 months, so need I say more the players were briefed the team fielded surely this was our time.

The game was end to end and very even but unfortunately fate took place as it does on most Landsdowne players and a solo goal decided the outcome, it was not sour grapes, it was just plain bad luck, a draw was deserved but not a loss but in the end goals decide goals and we can’t buy them for love nor money at the moment.
