In the previous fixture Callback managed to record their first victory over Landsdowne with a good 2-0 win. Today a much improved performance would be needed for Landsdowne to continue their winning streak.

Landsdowne settled well and were playing some good football. Everyone was giving a 110% and working for each other. It wasn’t long until the home side took a deserved lead. Tony Bush adding another goal to his tally. 1-0.

Landsdowne continued to dominate, but could not make their pressure count. Callback began to battle back and grabbed a deserved equaliser in the second halve. 1-1.

Landsdowne now needed to focus and get themselves back in the game. It looked liked it was going to end in a draw...... Vieceli had other ideas. He controlled a Callback clearance well with his chest and the ball sat up well begging to be struck. Vieceli obliged and smashed home a 30 yarder that was goal bound as soon as it was hit. A great goal worthy of winning any game. Final score 2-1.

Another great win for Landsdowne and another 3 points. Well played boys. Let’s keep it up. Man of the match this week could have been several players but was given to Vieceli for his great winning strike and also for a solid performance at the back.
