Landsdowne started this game looking for their first points at home this season as for all their endeavour they are yet to win a single point at home. This seemed very possible as they were playing Shoebury OB III, one of the few teams below them in the table.

Landsdowne got off to a bad start as their Manager "Hav-It" turned up late with one of their players, unable to tear himself away from his latest John Smiths advert, subsequently costing him a fine "cha cha cha cha cha ching".

The game got under way with 3 influential players missing, one due to injury and the other two abroad, hence Landsdowne took to the field in worse shape than a deflated football.

There was a bloody cold wind blowing from the East which they say is not good for man or beast and this also appeared true for Landsdowne as they put in another unacceptable below par performance.

Landsdowne were getting punished down the wings as Shoebury OB III never gave up the ghost. It was clear which team wanted it the most as Landsdowne for the second week running couldn't get out of their half and once again a few players went missing.

No one likes to lose but its the manner you lose in and Landsdowne look defeated the last couple of games because to make this system work, hard work and commitment are needed.

Manager Peter Smart was left scratching his head instead of his nuts for a change, wondering what he can do, however there were a couple of plus points.

Mr Rix got two goals whilst playing with the flu, and there was an impressive full debut by Matt on the right who showed conviction, dedication and passion as he cleared up "Man of the Match" award and deservedly so.

"Why can't this guy play every week?" Sven commented from the side lines.

In an interview after the game Matt stated that "he would love to play every week but he is not allowed!!!"
