Landsdowne travelled to the never regions and back today, when as luck had it they eventually stumbled across the away ground.

Once changed and ready to start, the stumbling continued as half the team were feeling the effects of the night before after drinking the night away to celebrate two birthdays, Gavin's and Pete's. Happy Birthday fella's.

They took to the field all playing in different positions for a laugh, getting into the Xmas spirit. Landsdowne started off with there 4-3-1-2 formation but after 10 mins Brian dropped deeper leaving us now playing 4-3-2-1, the famous Xmas tree formation, but to be fair it looked more like a Xmas pudding.

The change saw a good debut at centre back for Graham Rix and Tony Bush made his debut in goal and what a performance. Clearly the weeks training with David Seaman boded well as the match saw Tony making save after save which will go down in the Guinness book of records, the guy was nearly impossible to beat. Unfortunately if ya keep kicking at the door it will eventually give and that's what happened in the 10th minute when a low venomous strike beat him at the near post.

Landsdowne battled well, conceding another goal to a thunderous strike before the break leaving the score 2-0 at half time.

At half time the team underwent another change of positions seeing Landsdowne conceding another two goals in the second half, the 3rd goal was a delicate looping header leaving Landsdownes keeper no chance only problem was it was an own goal by Gavin Mayo.

The 4th and final goal was executed well after another good attack from the opposition leaving the final score 4-0.

Landsdowne offered little in the way of attack, seeing only a couple of shots, one being a good strike by Bling and the other an attack down the left when Spooks forgot what he was taught as a child, "you must learn to walk before ya can run". Clearly his brain disengaged and decided to do an impression of Superman instead, to which he found out not only could he not run he couldn't fly either.

In the interview afterwards, "Man of the Match" Tony Bush dedicated his performance to mild green Fairy liquid and quoted "if it wasn't for those slippery dishes I wouldn't have caught a thing".
