Another Sunday, where does it all go. One minute you're starting the season full off optimism, the next minute there is 4 games left and your rock bottom with 9 points and your next opponent’s are top of the league, it doesn’t rain it pours.

But looking on the brightside of life at least today Landsdowne have the opportunity to get 3 points before next week’s epic bottom vs top of the table clash, well maybe not 3, even 1 would do and so the game began, and taking into account the Managers calm and direct instructions of pass the ball, pass the ball, they did just that, at every opportunity they hit it as far up in the air and passed it to the opposition as much as they could, infact at one point a icicle came down on the ball.

If point’s were given for hoofing and panicking Landsdowne would win the league not a problem, but last week’s Managers comments and todays team talk fell on deaf ears (who said that).

To be fair and everyone would agree, we were shocking throughout the first half, not one Department worked well, the opposition was dancing round us with ease, poor Chaz forgot to take his ballet shoes off from the night before as tippy toe tastic himself was turned inside out by his winger. The plus point’s is Chaz got spotted by a talent scout on the side line’s and is the star of the next big ballet hit, its called "Shrek 3".

I know before I write this those of you out there in the world that take time to read these report’s, expect the next line to say we went 1-0 nil down and I wont disappoint you, we did.

Not only did we go 1-0 down by the end of what can only be described as an atrocious half, we were actually 3-0 down and had more chances of hitting a bird with the ball rather than the back of the net, however the plus point was the half was over.

So 3-0 nil down, all eyes on the Manager for pearls of wisdom, well a bead of sweat anyway, and with everyone expecting a rollicking, which to be fair we deserved, outcome this soft spoken half time team talk which graced the air like a ballet move from Chaz. Basically saying lad’s we were shit, go out their and play with some pride and we did despite the scoreline.

The second half got under way and Landsdowne started playing with a little more conviction and started to look like a football team. However, it was too little too late chasing a game like that, although Mel scored after their keeper and center back decided to play silly buggers. It left us weak at the back and we got sucker punched twice with the defence over committing forward, leaving the final scoreline a 5-1 defeat.

Man of the match

Huntsman said he was delighted with the award and it touched him to be considered for this accolade, however he knows this year has been a learning curve and stated he is looking forward to next season.

HAVE IT’S BIG FIVE

Today in the first half it was the worst I have ever seen us play, but I am upbeat about the second half , things I would like you to consider going forward to next week are:

(1) Think about the pass when in possession of ball.
(2) more bodies committed forward to scoring to negative.
(3) All players to drive forward with ball (direct & run).
(4) more self belief.
(5) don’t be afraid to hold ball up to relieve pressure

Going forward to next week, teams don’t win anything without every player working hard for 90 min’s.
