In the second match of today's double-header, Landsdowne finally woke up and produced a more solid performance, a performance that was needed in the earlier game.

Unfortunately it was not enough and a point from the game will do little to help in the fight against relegation.

Landsdowne took the lead when Tony Bush thundered a header past the Chronicles keeper.

Chronicles responded with an equaliser just before the break.

The second half then saw Landsdowne take the lead again when Bush's headed flick-on was superbly controlled and converted by Nathan Duck.

It will probably go down as the Landsdowne goal of the season, however it was not enough to win the game as once again Chronicles equalised shortly afterwards.

Improvements recently have seen Landsdowne claim many valuable points but the poor form in the first half of the season looks like costing the club it's division three status.

Results are late coming in and Landsdowne go into their final two games not knowing if they have been relegated.

There is still four points to play for but it is likely that even if they win their final two games they will be relegated.
