Where do I start or what should I say, today’s game was farcical and completely ruined by a terrible referring decision. It was so sh*t that even the opposition stuck up for us. It was blatantly obvious that what happened did not warrant a red card, however the ref thought so and totally ruined the game. To prove I'm not biased, yes, Trigger deserved a yellow card for his 2 secs of stupidity but not a red. Really ref, was that a red card offence???????????????????????????????????????????

Both teams thought not, however a red card was given in the 10th minute for a trip on a forward and Trigger was sent off (by the way did I mention that it was a terrible decision that cost a good honest person £80. Cheers ref!!!!)

Anyway, now I have expressed how we all felt including our opponent’s, both teams went head to head to try and get through to the next round, however despite Landsdowne’s lack of numbers and being 1-0 down from the penalty spot after the diabolical decision, the 10 men stuck in well and could not have done any more. Landsdowne worked their socks off and midfield still controlled the game despite the disadvantage, only a couple of chances missed was the difference between extra time.

The final whistle went and St George commiserated still with the decision and good luck to them in the next round for their sporting behavior,

Man of the match

Vegas was approached at full time for his comments on the game after receiving his accolade, however he was unavailable to speak, which was a first as you can never normally shut him up.
