Today was the day. If Landsdowne win today they could go top of the league. Add to the fact they could win 11 on the trot and the fact that they could be 3 points clear with all games in hand played. Today could be a special day, but remember it’s a mountain three quarter climbed and the ledges above are very slippery,

It was a big game. This was bigger than any other game this season. So much at stake, could Landsdowne take the game to the opposition? Could they play to their full potential or would they get found out today if they play how they have in recent weeks? Remember this is tough opposition. Will the blue print come into action and Landsdowne return to their old selves. 11 on the trot, top of the league. PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE. IT’S A PRESSURE COOKER IN HERE!!!!!!! PRESSURE I TELL YOU!!!!!!!

Hopefully Landsdowne could deal with it and be on the road to success. Remember - HUNGER, DRIVE, PASSION, WORKRATE = SUCCESS

Landsdowne kicked off and that was about as good as it got. Nerves were exposed, mistakes were made, ball’s were aimlessly kicked into no where. Misplaced tackles, misplaced passes, outfought and out thought, no fitness, no passion, no idea. Landsdowne were found out and beaten 4-2. These match reports take me 2-3 hours and I ain’t wasting anymore time on this game. For those who felt they honestly played well and couldn’t have done anymore for their team, well done and 2 good goals from Landsdowne’s famous couple Gav and Graham. For the others, let’s put it behind us. Live and learn. Remember this feeling so we can put it right against Waymade! And repay those who did play well. We lose as a team and win as a team. Let’s start another run. Remember:

HUNGER, DRIVE, PASSION, WORKRATE = SUCCESS.

Their was 9 votes as so many people abstained. However, there was 2 plus points. Tony Bush collected his 2nd yellow of the season and Landsowne have got that monkey off their back. I feel a new rule is if a Player get’s booked and it’s not put through the player pays half the amount to the club, unless it’s Bushy (he has to pay double to the club).

Man of the match
Rob Marling was unavailable for comment as he was so distraught at today’s result. He played well enough to be on the winning team.
