Whatever the result today Landsdowne were officially bottom. However, it was not a nothing game for their opponents because if they beat us and then beat Knightley’s in their final game they would be promoted as
Runners-up. That said, we had already drew 0-0 with them, and beaten 2 of the top 3 sides, so it was possible if everybody played to their ability that we could get something from the game.

The game kicked off and Landsdowne were in the game battling well, however the best way to describe this game is a farce. It was unbelievable what happened next. It was as if 11 footballers had been replaced with 11 Charlie Chaplin’s or 11 laurels. Never ever have we witnessed as a team 8 mistakes, yep you read that right, 8 mistakes, and what followed was worse. 8 mistakes were punished with 8 goals (how is your luck ? ).

That sums the game up really, the other 2 goals were worked well. The game was never a 10-0 defeat but then again best to get it out the way this season rather than start the next one this way.

Dean and Dave shared the vote and were both stunned by the score line, however they were pleased with their own performances and hoped to carry it forward to next season.

HAVE IT’S END OF SEASON

I feel we have learned a lot this season as a team and with some tweaking I am confident next season will be a lot better.

I'd like to thank everyone who takes time out to read these reports as they take me ages but as long as you’re reading it, it makes it worthwhile.

I am gutted we didn’t do better this season and my sign off this season is the same as last years.
