Landsdowne Rangers won their first game of the season at Oakwood Park.

Three clear cut chances went begging in the first half as the home side dominated play with keeper Mark Potts pulling off a great save just before half time to keep the score level.

A fine second half performance then saw Landsdowne take the points.

Tony Bush slid home the first goal after Nathan Duck had sprung the offside trap and sent a low cross from the right to the far post.

Landsdowne added a second after great work in the box by Martin Bell saw him lay the ball off to Dave Allen on the edge of the area, his thunderbolt going in despite the keepers best efforts.

Landsdowne then managed to hit the woodwork four times in a much-improved performance from recent weeks, with Anchor pulling one back late on to flatter the final scoreline.
