Today was a big game for landsdowne and they needed all their players available and fit for selection if they were to beat waymade to 1st place in the league, yeh right Landsdowne were down to bear bones and had to patch up the side seeing Danny slot in at centre half as mark was of in the sun somewhere and other players were injured( to many to list) hopefully the nerves in the dressing room was not to be relayed on to the pitch yeh right the game was about to commence and the players were ready wasn’t they????????

surely that cant is too bad really Vegas played centre half for years you would think! but today Vegas cost Lansdowne dearly after 5 minutes a missed time reading of the ball ended up with a 1-0 deficit to Landsdowne, not good and what a *ank*r.

The look on players faces said it all, but that’s okay it’s only 1-0, Lansdowne went on to play well and missed a few chances unfortunately a ball over the top caught john out of position and despite best intentions Vegas trying to cover this managed to net an own goal leaving the score 2-0 nil, it just get’s worse for the fat boy at the back.

After 20 mins the nerves settled as did the patched up back four who started controlling the back line and it was there turn to watch mistake after mistake in front of goal, just 1 goal would get us back in it when up-stepped the man of the moment Tony bush, and with a quick pull of the trigger(we know and sympathise for this mrs bush) and like I said within a second it was over, a quality finish by the Mr bush, it was a freekick truly to be proud of one that should be put in a book,

Landsdowne had their opportunities to win this tie but it was not to be Landsdowne lost 4-1 with the scoreline flattering their opposition.
